...moments in time

The one certainty of our lives, is the unpredictable aspect.  Our obsession with planning ahead is I suppose admirable or maybe even normal, but so many unplanned events pop up and expose our vulnerabilities.  Of course you can live for the moment...often times not a good idea.  Is there an alternative?  Maybe we should plan ahead in case we are able to manage the speed bumps of life, but maybe we should also relish the moments we live in as if they were our last.  Look around and accept the gifts life bestows upon us.  The natural universe is very generous and displays moments of beauty everyday to the senses.  Our eyes should be wide open and our minds must be willing to accept what is given to us.  I will admit, this is much easier said than done, but is worth the effort.  Most of all, love your life and those you share it with.  Peace.
