A new life full of endless possibilities is a common theme for newborn human beings, but dogs have potentials too....just not quite like ours.   Their ability to affect our lives in a positive and meaningful manner is huge and for them to do that changes their possibilities into realities.  Their lives mean something and their place in the universe is set.  Bear, has already made an impact on me, and I am looking forward to all the wonderful things he will bring to me and others.  He can only enrich our lives because he has such a hunger for love and life.....and that is what IT is all about.

...when I read about some of the terrible things certain people do with dogs, it makes me angry and sad.  

...these creatures are helpless and cannot defend themselves from such cruelty and it is up to us to fight for them  and protect them.

...dogs have many emotions, and feelings like fear, anxiety and sadness are very much so present with them

...dogs most assuredly feel physical pain too and for certain elements in our world to inflict such horrors is simply intolerable

...love your dog, protect him, show him kindness and enjoy the wonder that he is

...i am thankful everyday for having Ralphy

...he is special and beyond compare

LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO BEAR.  HE IS ALSO A MEMBER OF MY CLAN AND HE IS AN ENERGETIC 20 WEEK OLD PUPPY.  HE IS A MIX OF LAB AND WHO KNOWS WHAT, BUT HE LOOKS LIKE HE WILL BE PRETTY BIG.  HE PLAYS WITH RALPHY AND THEY HAVE BECOME FRIENDS.  HOPE YOU LIKED MEETING HIM.  YOU WILL HEAR MORE IN THE FUTURE OF HIS ADVENTURES.

Elusive Butterfly

Try to photograph a butterfly...it's not easy.  I followed him for about an hour until he finally landed and stayed still so I could get a picture of him.  Butterflies are beautiful living things and should be appreciated for their uniqueness.  The plant he is residing on is...a butterfly bush!!  Makes sense.  Hope you like the pic.

Let me introduce you to Ralphy.  He is one of my best friends.  Ralphy came into my life about 3 years ago as a puppy and now he brings me nothing but joy.  He is smart, loving and undeniably loyal.  I will be talking about him a lot over the course of time. 

And a good morning to anyone and everyone.  Autumn is the time of year in Michigan for crisp air, the scent of fallen leaves and fresh apple cider.
