...bird brain

I always wondered what birds thought as they sat atop the metal pole in my backyard.  Uh....no not really, but I do imagine this particular bird was just enjoying his life in the summer breeze as I was clicking my camera on him...or her.  The term "bird brain" is meant as an insult to someone's intelligence, but I suspect a bird is quite smart....at being a bird.  Isn't that all that matters?
